Safety awareness campaign on damaged scaffolding material, KSA

Douglas OHI recently launched a comprehensive Safety Awareness Campaign aimed at educating the project team on the proper usage of scaffolding material and the critical importance of quarantining damaged equipment. The initiative, which took place at our project site in KSA, underscored the company's commitment to safeguarding its workforce and maintaining operational efficiency.

A key focus of the campaign was on engagement and active participation. All employees  across the site were encouraged to take part in interactive sessions that included hands-on demonstrations, group discussions, and real-life case studies of incidents involving damaged scaffolding. This approach allowed team members to share their insights and experiences, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility when it comes to site safety.

Through open dialogue and active involvement, the campaign successfully heightened awareness about the risks posed by damaged scaffolding, such as structural instability and potential injury. Employees were also trained on identifying damaged components and the proper steps for quarantining these materials, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to at all times.

Douglas OHI places great value on engaging its workforce in health and safety practices, recognising that a collaborative approach leads to more effective outcomes. This campaign is a testament to our ongoing efforts to create safer, more efficient work environments. By empowering our teams to take the lead on safety measures, we not only reduce risk but also build a culture of accountability and mutual care.
